Market Purchase by the Company of its Own Shares
Henderson Global Trust PLC announces that on 27 January 2012 it purchased 25,477 Ordinary 25p shares at 314.64p per share to be held in treasury.
The purchase will reduce the number of Ordinary shares in issue that have full voting rights to 39,927,991.
The Company's called-up Ordinary share capital will continue to be 41,557,163 shares, of which 1,629,172 (3.92%) are held in Treasury and have no voting rights.
Voting Rights
The Company's issued capital comprises Ordinary shares of 25p each and 3.75% Cumulative Preference Stock.
Holders of the Company's Ordinary shares are entitled to one vote for every £2 of nominal capital held.
Holders of the Company's 3.75% Cumulative Preference Stock are entitled to one vote for every £10 of nominal capital held.
